Cranberry Brie Bites

During the holidays, I am always trying to think of an easy entertaining appetizer that can impress. This is honestly the perfect appetizer for just that. Best part, it can be made ahead of time to easily pop in the oven prior to guests arriving. Drizzle with a little of honey and serve with delicious holiday cocktails and these easily become a fan favorite! They are basically a bite of warm happiness.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 oz brie
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry dough
  • 1/2 C whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 C chopped walnuts
  • cooking spray
  • Honey for serving

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and generously coat your muffin pans with nonstick spray
  2. Unroll your sheet of puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface. Cut into even 2 1/2 inch squares . Gently separate the squares and press them into the muffin tins to create a puff pastry cup.
  3. Cut the Brie into 1 inch cubes and place each piece into the center of your muffin cups
  4. Top each piece with 1-2 tsp of cranberry sauce and chopped walnuts
  5. Bake 12-15 minutes, until pastry is puffed and golden brown
  6. Serve with a drizzle of honey

MAKE AHEAD: You can fully assemble the bites in the muffin pan, and refrigerate unbaked overnight
