Eating healthy isn’t always the easiest for me as my love for pizza is never ending! And when it comes to game days, I want all of the easy comfort foods to be out on the table! Cheese dip, chips, Chex-mix, fried wings, you name it, I want all the yummy snacks!! Well, this years Super Bowl menu plan is looking a little “healthier”. With that said, who says we still can’t have comfort foods right? I am making Garlic Parmesan Sweet Potato Fries with Chipotle Aioli, a Honey Lime Winter Fruit Salad, and Crispy Wings!
I won’t lie when I say these chicken wings are the best! Super easy and a healthier option than deep frying, tossed with a good dry rub and then crisped in your air fryer, perfect for game day with little-to-no mess afterwards.

Ingredients
Homemade Dry Rub:
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- salt and pepper, to taste
Crispy Wings:
- 1 1/2 lb chicken wings
- 1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp of rub (see above)
- salt & pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Pat chicken wings dry with a paper towel and place in a large bowl.
- Toss your wings with 1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil, 1 1/2 Tbsp dry rub, salt & pepper until fully coated.
- Transfer wings into your air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 390 for 12 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, giving it a final toss after about 6. Chicken temp should reach 165.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
Notes:
I am using a Ninja Foodi.
If using frozen wings, I recommend to thaw out the wings completely before cooking.
