Baked Sweet & Spicy Wings

The perfect game day wings! I don’t mind getting messy with these. The flavor is just the perfect combination of sweet and spicy and no frying!

I remember one year we had a wing competition with friends. I believe I made sticky sesame wings. All of us went all out that year. It was honestly super fun. Not one person made the same flavor and as you can see below, we even had a cheater who decided to purchase wings instead of making his own. I want to say he even got second place haha! I absolutely love our little crowd. Food always brings us together. And I promise, these wings would totally win this competition 😉

We take competitions really serious!! Throwback 2016

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted

  3. Place wings onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, flipping half way.
  4. While wings are baking, prepare your glaze. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour for about 30 seconds. Stir in honey, sriracha, coco aminos and lime juice. Bring to boil and simmer until thickened, about 3-5 minutes
  5. Brush wings with glaze and broil for 4-6 minutes, or until crisp.
